Only 13 more days until our first Open Model Call/Photo Test with Devon Hunter at Sidelines in Charlotte NC. Actually I'm pretty excited about it, I'm also pretty nervous about it. Will anyone show up? If so will anyone look good enough to make the grade? No way to know until the moment arrives, Sept. 22, 2009 a day that will live in... well we certainly hope not infamy. Charlotte has always been one of those cities that you just never can predict. The things you think will draw a crowd never do and the things you think will not pull in many people at all are often packed... so there really is no way to tell.

ReplyDeleteCame across your site on ModelMayhem--where I posted a profile a couple days ago--and am still awaiting approval.
I live in Charlotte and am a young bi photographer who has been doing semi pro and contract photography for years. While I've shot a tremendous amount of portraiture, I have only done two professional nude photoshoots, and have always wanted to do more--there's just never been a good way to "start" as it were.
So when I saw your casting call, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to get a feel for nude-shooting.
That being said, is this a casting call for models only? I'd love to sit in, and watch/learn/contribute etc whatever I could as a photographer...but of course I wouldn't want to step on anyone's toes.
